The Marketing and Public Relations Society of Senior Housing and Service Professionals (MPRS) is a non-profit, professional society which exists to serve the needs and interests of professional staff whose responsibilities involve marketing senior communities and services, recruiting residents, and/or conducting public relations programs for retirement and senior housing or services organizations.
Established in 1992, the primary purpose of MPRS is to provide educational programs to enhance and develop the professional development and skills of its members. At least four educational programs are offered every year on a variety of topics pertinent to the field of senior housing, sales and public relations. As a secondary objective, MPRS also provides excellent and effective networking opportunities for those who attend its programs.
The mission of MPRS is to foster the highest standards in the marketing and public relations professions within the senior housing and service profession. The Society is independent and not governed by any other organization. It is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, elected from and by the membership.
